The Connection That Can’t Be Erased: Parental Alienation – Young Hearts

Sometimes, one parent might not be in a child’s life the way they want to be. This doesn’t mean they are a bad parent. Often, it’s because they are being kept away, even though they love their child deeply and think about them every day.

This heartfelt children’s book is written to help young readers understand the complex emotions of parental alienation. Through tender words and engaging illustrations, children will learn that even when one parent seems distant, their love remains unwavering.

The Connection That Can’t Be Erased: Explaining Parental Alienation – Growing Hearts

This book is the second volume in The Connection That Can’t Be Erased series, following the Young Hearts edition. This edition serves as a reminder that parental alienation affects both mothers and fathers.

Parental alienation is a heartbreaking reality that occurs when a child is influenced to reject one parent due to the actions or words of another. It’s a painful and confusing experience that can leave children feeling torn between loyalty and love.

In this story, Vicky hears a lot about her dad—things that make her question the good memories she once had. Meanwhile, Joshua just wants to love his dad without confusion or guilt. Vicky is a young girl struggling with confusing emotions after hearing negative things about her dad. As she sorts through her own experiences, she begins to question what’s real and what’s been shaped by others.
